Let us even enJOY the wait

A happy heart makes the face cheerful,
but heartache crushes the spirit. Proverbs 15:13

We have choices in life, and REgardless of our circumstances we are encouraged to choose JOY! That’s the title for today’s message, “Choose Joy”. The text says, “Our Father has promised us joy. He understands joy and sadness more than we know. God's Word says that when we are sad, our spirit is broken. Don't let it stop there. Find joy! Look for joy! Choose joy!” As a REminder in Nehemiah 8:10, the joy of the Lord is your strength. When your down seek Him and find JOY. When your up, REjoice in Him with JOY.

Luke 3

The Lord is REal, and He’s coming again. REmain encouraged for as written in Luke 3:5-6, “‘Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth. And all people will see God’s salvation.’ ”

Today’s message from “The Company You Keep Matters” speaks to “Where You’re Going”. The writer says, “We often jump into relationships with people like it’s an immediate yes to the question, “Are you free?” We fail to consider where they’re going and if that’s where we want to end up as well…. Not every time you’re with your friends leaves you feeling like it was a really impactful moment, but as you look back over time, it’s important to consider the journey.” Let us evaluate and RE-evaluate our friendships and RElationship to ensure we are enJOYing our JOurneY and helping others along theirs while others help us too. RElationships, their a two street.

Psalms 40:1
