Be territorial

“You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping.” Psalms‬ ‭18:36‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Osteen REminds us this morning that we will never REach our full potential in a limited environment. But not only that, God also uses people, and particularly those who come against us, to push us where we’re supposed to be. When we are in a limited environment we are not stretched—we fit in when we are made to stand out—we settle and downplay our potential. Similarly, those around us prevent us from going higher because they either can’t or don’t want to see us do so, for misery loves company. Yet when you are a child of the Most High God, He has a plan for our lives, and enlarges the path beneath us and makes our steps secure so that our feet do not slip, as written in Psalm 18:36. Do not REsist the REsistance that comes from others or your environment. Like a bow and arrow, sometimes you have to BE pulled back to propel forward.

Numbers 20

Let us not BE like Moses and Aaron in Numbers 20:12, “But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, ‘Because you did not trust me enough to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel, you will not lead them into the land I am giving them!’” Let us trust in the Lord’s word and ways, knowing He knows the plans for our lives, to prosper us and not to harm us.‭‭

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

“Boundaries have purpose”, Meyer says this morning. She goes further to say, “Exercising self-control and self-discipline, and establishing boundaries and borders in our life are some of the most important things we can do. A life that has no discipline is one that's filled with carelessness…. When we have boundaries, borders, and margins, we feel much better and experience God's peace.“ Let us REmember that boundaries are not just important with our surroundings, but they are also important with those who surround us. People, places, and things should keep you in peace, not pieces.

John 15:12

You may not like everyone, but we shall love each other, for God is love and we must share and tell of Him and His goodness 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Be territorial today, my friend.
