BE open to BEing shaped and molded to your purpose by life’s experiences
For you, Lord, have delivered me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. Psalm 116:8
As I REad today’s devotional from “Daily Strength for Women” I thought about Rev. Timothy Wright’s song, “Trouble Don’t Last Always”. Today’s message, “No More Tears” says, “We are promised a time where there will be no more death, tears, or stumbling. This life is full of hardships, but we can live in hope that a day will come where joy will reign supreme…. Lean on him through the hard times and he will give you strength to live with eternity in mind.” Perspective is always the key when we feel like all hope is gone; always turn to Thee. Though we may not BE able to see it in the moment, He has promised to work all things for our good and give us eternal life if we just BElieve.
REflection from Shaped to Purpose
As we wrap up “Shaped for Purpose”, we are encouraged to “Enjoy the Ride”. The writer speaks about his daughter’s JOurneY to BEcoming a surfer and the bumpy ride for her. He speaks about if you ask his daughter, she would feel she hasn’t made much progress, but like our Father, he sits and watches in amazement how far she has come. He says, “In some ways, you and I will never leave the shaping bay, and, in another, we will live life to the full in the hands of a Master Shaper – and emerge as the final shape He intended, only when it’s all said and done.” Let us take time to step back from what we are doing to see what we have done and who we have BEcome, knowing God has BEen there and will continue to strengthen and guide us to do what He needs and BE what He intends for us to BE.
Proverbs 18:21
As we speak may we choose words of life and not death for ourselves and others.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
