This too shall pass

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

Today’s devotional from “Daily Strength for Women” provides REassurance for me during this challenging time in my life. As we experience pain and hurt, we sometimes wonder why, but as the message conveys this morning, “We are God's treasure in jars of clay.… Just as jars of clay are, we may be battered and bruised in life. We may even shatter! But the treasure that is within is unbreakable.“ Trials are going to come, yet our faith and knowing what God has done and continues to do, only REveals what an experience and testimony will come again for me and you and what He’s brought us T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak). Let us forever hold to His unchanging Hand, and know when we feel we cannot go on, He is with us to help us stand.

REflection from Shaped to Purpose

“Shaped to Purpose” speaks to “God’s design template for your life”. As written, the message today says, “The dictionary describes a template as ‘a starting point – a piece of material used as a pattern for a shaping process’.” This is the first thing we find that a shaper grabs when creating a surfboard. As with our lives, the writer says, “God, our Master Shaper, has a tried and tested template for our lives, and it’s a banger…. Our design template is Jesus, the One who made it all…. His knowledge of you is on the molecular level. His intention is to personally hand shape you for a full and adventurous life.” Though life may be filled with ups and downs, may we hold tight to the fact that greater is coming, and our BEst is yet to come. He has shaped us with a purpose and we must walk boldly to REceive what else He has prepared for us along life’s JOurneY.

Isaiah 43:2

There is nothing in this world we have to go through alone, for our Father is on the throne.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
