Let us seek peace in Christ and not BE in pieces BEcause of this life

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. Philippians 2:5-6

This morning we are encouraged to have the “Mindset of Christ”. The devotional starts off by saying, “The attitude Christ bore was one of servanthood and sacrifice. His humble obedience is meant to serve as a model for us to replicate…. You can love others the way he has loved you when you do it through his strength.” God’s love for each and every one of us is unconditional. It’s not easy for us to love everyone BEcause we are of flesh, but let us work each day to love as Christ would want us.

REflection from Courageous Peace by Rob Stanmore

Today we BEgin a 6-day series “Courageous Peace” by Rob Stanmore. Day 1 is titled “The Missing Peace”. Stanmore says, “Peace is a puzzling thing. You might feel like you have it one day, or you might feel a world apart from it the next…. Alfred Nobel was a man once defined by chaos, but transformed to be known as a bringer of peace.” As we seek peace in our day to day lives, let us REflect on John 14:27 as Stanmore REminds us of Jesus giving the disciples this profound revelation on peace: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
