Protect your peace in prayer not passivity

“Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!” Isaiah 30:18

Isaiah 30:18 says, “Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!” Today’s message from Daily Strength for Women” REminds us that God’s grace is sufficient and His compassion is patient but will not fail. Know that He will right wrongs in His timing; we can trust and depend on His word.

REflection from Courageous Peace by Rob Stanmore

Today’s focus from “Courageous Peace” asks “What Is Courageous Peace?”. The author goes to say, “Our key passage for this plan is John 14:26-27: ‘I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!’” The text continues, “We’re not called to settle in defeat, but instead, God has given us the gift of peace. The peace we have received isn’t a fragile peace given by the world, but rather an unchanging, courageous peace.“ We must REmember that every battle is already won in our lives, we just have to claim the victory. With that victory peace comes for God is not the author of confusion nor will He bring harm to us. May we go in peace and stay in peace and not pieces BEcause of people and their ways.
