We are chosen by Christ and never have to think twice about it

“I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the housetop.” Psalm 102:7

This morning’s message asks a questions; “Have you had one of those nights when you just didn’t feel like you slept at all?… No one else is awake and you are alone with your thoughts and feelings…. In those times of feeling alone, remember that your God is a God who never sleeps. He cares so much for you that he is ready to listen to your heart at any time.“ I have come to REalize that when I can’t sleep, it’s God who I must seek. It’s our mind that He’s after. We are anxious and REstless, and many times wrestling with thoughts and He’s waiting to provide comfort and answers. Next time you can’t sleep turn your mind to Thee.

Luke 20

Let us never worry about those who come against us, for as written in Luke 20:42-43, the Lord said, “Sit thou on my right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.” REmember to BE still and know that He is God.

Max Lucado’s message for today is “Present Your Requests to God”. He says, “But why present your requests to him at all? What’s the purpose when he already knows what you are going to ask? Prayer is actually for your benefit. It allows you to act in faith on what you know about his character. When you pray in specific ways—for the particulars of your problems—and you see God respond in specific ways, your faith grows.“ If you have not already, work to develop a personal relationship with Christ, for with Him there are answers to all our problems, JOY, peace, and contentment. There is nothing that we can ask for that He doesn’t have the answer, for He loves us more than life itself.
