Be so satisfied in your situation BEcause of the Savior
“Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deuteronomy 31:8 NLT
I love how God comforts and provides confirmation to me—He never fails. I have been REminded that it rains on the just and the unjust, and I, too, will have storms in life. This morning’s devotional by Osteen truly hits close to home. This morning he speaks about taking on as pastor after the death of his father, and how a couple didn’t like the direction he was taking the church and they were choosing to leave. He said to himself, “If I made it through the death of my father…I can make it without that couple being here.” That REsonated with me this morning. Coincidentally, this is the season where I think about my father the most, but I feel God is telling me, of you made it through the death of your father, you can make it through what comes your way.
As we go along life’s JOurneY, let us REmember the hardest challenge God has seen us through, and know that if He was with us then, He’ll BE with us through whatever else may come our way.
Judges 14
As in Judges 14, may we not entice others to violate a RElationship with the one they love for our gain.
REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life
This morning, Joyce Meyer REminds us that no matter what we are going through, there are others in need. As her prayer says today, may we ask of the Father: “Give me Your heart for justice and show me the hurting and broken that You want me to help.”
Matthew 24:35
