Start over this Sunday with the Savior
“Don’t interfere with good people’s lives; don’t try to get the best of them. No matter how many times you trip them up, God-loyal people don’t stay down long; Soon they’re up on their feet, while the wicked end up flat on their faces.” Proverbs 24:15-16 (MSG)
Proverbs 24:16 (MSG) was lifted up in today’s devotional by Osteen, and I’m actually going to add verse 15 as well. The scriptures say, “Don’t interfere with good people’s lives; don’t try to get the best of them. No matter how many times you trip them up, God-loyal people don’t stay down long; Soon they’re up on their feet, while the wicked end up flat on their faces.” Osteen encourages us and REminds us of God’s goodness saying, “If you are going through a difficult time, you need to look back and remember what God has done.” We are of flesh and will experience some valleys low. However, we won’t stay down, but rise again. We must lift our eyes to the hills from which comes our help. We don’t have to say a word, and He will still answer and lift us up again.
Judges 15
As God-loyal people, we can give in to those who come against us as Samson did in Judges 15, but God is our vindicator and we still win.
REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life
Joyce Meyer has given me the right encouragement to BEgin my week. She speaks about God’s Character. In her prayer she says, “God, You are wonderful. Your justice, goodness, holiness, and countless other traits amaze me and remind me of how great You are. Continue to remind me of Your character so I can become more like You.” As we go about each day, let us BE mindful of our character, working to emulate our Father, no matter what may come against us or what may BE for us.
Psalm 119:105
When we are in a dark place, His word lights our way and REignites our spirit. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Start over this Sunday with the Savior, my friend.
