We can BE confident with our incompetence when we wait and walk with Christ; He’ll never misdirect us

Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. 2 Corinthians 3:5

Today’s message from “Daily Strength for Women” speaks to BEing “Confident in Incompetence”. The writer says, “There is great freedom in admitting our shortcomings and allowing the Father to be our strength. No matter what he asks of us, we are confident in our incompetence. We may not be capable, but God is more than qualified to carry out his plans through us. All we need to do is swallow our pride and let him lead us.” May we allow our Father to BE our strength this day and each day as we REmember that we are His willing vessels, receptive to do His will, putting aside our feelings and seeing the work through.

Advise is given to us this morning about how to hear from our God. Feldhahn says, “You have to turn off the flow of everything that is distracting you right now. Turn off social media. Stop the flow of the news. Set your alarm, wake up early, and have coffee with the Lord.” She goes further saying, “If you want to hear from your boss, or from a friend, you have to cut out all distractions and pay attention to that person. You wouldn’t surf social media while your boss is talking to you, or at lunch with a friend. It would be rude, and you wouldn’t hear them properly. It’s the same thing with God. You have to cut out whatever keeps you from hearing that still, small voice.” What is keeping you from hearing the Father? May we work to REmove whatever is preventing us from drawing near to Him and work to BE still to hear from Him.

Psalm 27:14

Waiting can feel like one of the worst things in the world BEcause of the unknown of why and when. However, when we wait on the Father and His timing, it will BE more than worth it at the end.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

We can BE confident with our incompetence when we wait and walk with Christ; He’ll never misdirect us, my friend.
