Choose JOY and enJOY this day and each day

“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.” Romans‬ ‭16:20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This morning’s devotional from Osteen is titled “Position of Power”. The message BEgins with Osteen saying, “All the things that come against us to try to get us upset… are all distractions. That's the enemy trying to lure us off course, get us bent out of shape, and waste valuable time and energy on something that doesn't really matter.” That is nothing but the truth. Just yesterday morning I experienced just that. I was feeling a little down, in a “woe is me” kind of mood. But then I had to REmember the words on our family photo shirts which say “choose happy”. Though I wasn’t up to it, I got up and got out with one of my dear siSTARS, and placed all I was feeling under my feet, not allowing it to defeat me. Like Osteen says, “When you're in peace, it's a position of power.” Let’s work to stay in peace in the position and places God has us; it’s for a purpose and can provide a perspective that we need, if we trust it and Him.

Isaiah 10

May we BE like the Israelites in Isaiah 10:20, no longer depending on those who seek to destroy us, but faithfully trust the Lord.

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

I truly love awakening and REceiving messages that are always in alignment with my life. Today’s message by Joyce Meyer is spot on with my weekend as I enJOY many friends who are in town. The message, “Be in the World, Not of It”, is confirmation. I just had a conversation about this message last night. I had a shirt on that said, “Holy with a hint of hood”. Just BEcause I love God doesn’t mean I can’t profess it and enJOY life. I love BEing out in the world, but I don’t allow the world to control me. Meyer highlights John 14:27 (AMP) saying, “The world responds to difficulties by being upset and discouraged, but Jesus said that we should stop allowing ourselves to be agitated, disturbed or upset.” Life and the world is to BE enJOYed by us but not to destroy us. Choose JOY and choose Christ in this life.

2 Peter 3:9

Slow and steady with the Savior wins the race each time. Trust His process for our own sake; He doesn’t want harm to come to us. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
