Let prayer and patience guide you this day and each day

“You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands." 1 Samuel 17:45-46

“Daily Strength for Women” gives us a message about “Slaying Giants” this morning. We are REminded, “We all have giants in our lives. Our giants are real and they can rock our world, stressing us to the limit.… Giants stress us, but God fights our battles.“ As David said to Goliath in 1 Samuel 17:45-46, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands." We are REminded that we only have to go our dressed in the full armor of God, prayed up, surrendering to His will and way. He’s never lost a battle and won’t start with yours and mine.

REflection from While We Wait by Leading and Loving It

Today’s message from “While We Wait” is from Liz Sarno. She says, “Patience is defined as the capacity to accept or tolerate delay. It’s not just waiting; it’s how we act in the waiting…. We have to remember that God’s ways are not our ways, and sometimes He uses even the most irritating setbacks to shape and develop us, helping us to become perfected in a greater way!“ She goes further saying, “James 1:2-4 tells us that the testing of our faith produces patience. When the work of patience is finished, we will be perfect and complete--lacking nothing.” Let us continually pray for patience as we wait well for the wondrous work the Father is doing allows us to REap the REwards of our prayers of faith.

John 14:6

He is the only way; all others will lead astray.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Let prayer and patience guide you this day and each day, my friend.
