You’re Not An Option, You’re A Privilege
"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" Psalm 46:10
Psalm 46:10, one of my favorite scriptures is highlighted with today’s devotional from “Daily Strength for Women”. It says, "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" As the writer says this morning, “This psalm is not an invitation to be lazy, but to heed God…. When we rely on the power of our own strength, the temptation is to exalt ourselves. God is our source of strength, and he alone is to be exalted in the earth.“ It is important for us to learn to BE still, and even more importantly to just BE, at times. When we work to do, God can’t. May we always seek to hear from Him and allow His will to BE done in our lives along life’s JOurneY.
REflection from Know Who You Are In Christ: Unpacking Your Spiritual Identity
Today we BEgin “Know Who You Are In Christ: Unpacking Your Spiritual Identity” by The Wiedmann Bible. The first message poses a question: “Who Are You”? The devotional REads, “Everyone has an identity, this being the characteristics, traits, and personality that defines who you are. You could say that this is your ‘worldly’ identity. But once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you receive a new spiritual identity through the Holy Spirit.” We are not who we used to BE; those are memories. Once we accept Christ, we BEcome new creations. That can sometimes BE hard for others to accept about us, but that’s not for us to BE concerned with, for as the message says, “You are chosen, hand-picked by the God of all creation, and made new.” Always REmember we are not to conform to the ways of this world, but we are fearfully and wonderfully made individuals working to stay true to Christ Jesus and what He desires for us to BEcome and do.
John 14:27
When you REceive peace from Christ, you will understand that the cost was worth the sacrifice. Nothing can take the place of what God has given us by His grace.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
