Fret not, for the Father is near you

“Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.” 2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Just BEfore I BEgan REading my devotional this morning, one of my siSTARS REsponding to my text from yesterday. I was just checking in on her for the holidays. We chatted and then I told her I was praying for her peace of mind and soul. What happens next? I open up today’s message by Osteen, “Peace at All Times”. Everything God Ordains (EGO). He knew my prayer for her BEfore I even spoke it, and had a word prepared for me to share with her, but also for me. On this Christmas Eve, while some are filled with the excitement of the holiday, and others are stressed with the last minute preparations; yet many more experience the pain of loved ones gone. Yet may we all BE comforted by 2 Thessalonians 3:16, “Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.” As Osteen continues to REmind us this day, “You can stay in peace, knowing that God is directing your steps…you have to REmind yourself that the end has been set.” As another siSTAR REminds me, what we experience are moments, not monuments. Peace BE unto you this day and each day.

1 Samuel 17

Whatever your battle in this season, as Saul said to David as he went to battle with Goliath in 1 Samuel 17:37, “Go, and the Lord be with thee.”

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

This morning, Joyce Meyer speaks of insecurity saying, “An epidemic of insecurity is stealing the joy of life from many people in our society today and causing major problems in their relationships…. The truth is that we don't need to struggle to get from man what God freely gives us: love, acceptance, approval, security, worth and value.” As with Meyer, I too, admit that I struggled with insecurity, but the BEst decision I ever made was to turn to the Father for all my needs. You see, there is this fruit that He feeds our souls with—the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (as written in Galatians 5:22-23). We are never left feeling empty but loved and fulfilled by the One who loves us unconditionally when we can’t even love ourselves.

Luke 2:14

May we give God the glory each day, even if we have nothing else to give. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Fret not this Friday, for the Father is near you, my friend.
