A glorious adventure is upon you this day and each day with Christ

“You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.” (Psalm 16:11)

Today’s devotional from “Strength for Women” encourages us to “Take the Plunge”. Now when I read that, it sounded as if we should take a chance on something exciting, and that something exciting (or rather that someone) is Christ. The text says, “God promises to be with us during our challenging and stressful times, but he'll also accompany us on those exhilarating and fun adventures too. After all, God is the creator of everything.… Sometimes we're guilty of thinking of God as a problem-solver-which he is -but maybe we haven't ever viewed him as the life of the party. God gives life and he promises it abundantly. Our walk with him should be an adventure every single day.” Today is a new day with new beginnings, new blessings, new opportunities and new mercies—a new adventure with Him has begun! Let’s get excited about the joy of the Lord and what He will surprise us with this day. Hold tight to a positive perspective today and this promise; “You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever”(Psalm 16:11).

Reflection from SoulSister: Renewing Your Mind Through the Word of God

“The Little Bitty Spider” is the message from “SoulSister: Renewing Your Mind Through the Word of God”. The question is posed, “Am I allowing little things to be big things in my life?” The writer goes on to say, “This is often what happens to us in our journey of life. We are riding along, doing well, staying focused on our race, staying in our lane, and then in a quick moment, something little bitty tries to come into our view to distract us. Next thing you know, we have turned our eyes from Jesus and the call God has on our life. We allow that little bitty thing to stop us, slow us down, or make us quit…. Even if the setbacks seem gigantic in the moment, remember nothing is as big as our God.“ Little things are going to come as distractions, but let’s not make a mountain out of a molehill—these things are not monuments but moments. Don’t magnify them but focus on the magnificent things that God continues to do.

Psalm 119:105

When we lose our way or can’t see which way to turn, we can always navigate our way by turning to Him and seeking His word.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

A glorious adventure is upon you this day and each day with Christ, my friend.
