Love abounds in you and for you through Christ
“Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint; heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony.” Psalm 6:2
This morning’s devotional is called “Aching Bones”, and highlights Psalm 6:2 for context. That scripture Reads, “Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint; heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony.” The passage goes on to say, “Our lifestyle doesn't allow us to just stay in bed as long as we need to, there are kids, jobs, or classes to attend to and those things don't wait for you…. Ask the Lord for energy, and then make some wise choices about your schedule so you can endure the day ahead.“ If we ask we must BE open to REceive, but also understand there will BE something REquired of us. Let us REmember also that our bodies are temples. Let us take care of them to avoid shutdown for REnovation which can also BE costly.

Let us always REmember Mark 10:27, “‘With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.’” Furthermore, may we also know as written in verse 55, our faith has healing power.

Today we BEgin the devotional “The Sacred Search” by Gary Thomas. Today’s message is titled “God-Given Love”. Thomas says, “When husband and wife are committed in Christ, growing together in the Lord, supporting each other in their spiritual walks, raising children in the fear of the Lord, loving each other out of reverence for God, joy abounds and miracles happen.… If two people join themselves around this mission—if they make their marital choice based on the best person with whom they can accomplish this mission—they are far more likely to have a fulfilling and soul-building marriage.“ In every RElationship we have, let us seek to exemplify what our Father expects of us, especially in those situations where we might BE in love our searching for love. Let us find purpose with our person, mission should BE in our mingling or marriage, but most importantly, Christ in our connection.
