Success is yours—see it through
“You have given him his heart’s desire, And You have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.” Psalms 21:2 AMP
In this life we will experience hardships and setbacks, but Osteen REminds us this morning that even if a dream has been buried deep under dysfunction and addiction, it is still alive. Therefore my siSTAR, my brother, no matter what may come our way or what we go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) we can finish what was started in us and see dreams and aspirations through. It’s a new day with new beginnings, new blessings, new mercies, and new opportunities. Day one or one day—you choose.
2 Samuel 21
Let us do what we can for others as David in 2 Samuel 21:3 when he said, “What should I do for you? How can I make it good so that you will bless the Lord’s inheritance (Israel)?”
REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life
This morning Joyce Meyer speaks of healthy shame and unhealthy shame. She says, “There is a type of shame that is normal and healthy. For example, if I lose or break something that belongs to someone else, I feel disappointed about my mistake. I wish I had not been so careless or negligent. I am sorry, but I can ask for forgiveness, receive it and go on with my life.” However , she goes further to say, “When a person doesn't ask for or receive forgiveness, they can punish themselves and start to hate who they are.” Our Father is a god of forgiveness. Let us not beat ourselves up over matters for our Father forgives as soon as we seek Him. Let’s not continuously punish ourselves but pray and allow God’s peace surpass our understanding.
John 1:5
