Daily Devotional for March 31, 2021
David said to [Goliath], “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty.” 1 Samuel 17:45
Osteen REminds us this morning that God is in control of our lives. “Sometimes His plan includes giants, fiery furnaces, Red Seas, Pharaohs, and other people who don’t like you.” When these situations arise we want to blame it on the enemy, but these instances are still a part of God’s plan. May we REmember that trials come to strengthen and prepare us for what’s to come along life’s JOurneY. So let us still REmain in faith knowing everything will work for our good.
Esther 10
As we wrap up the book of Esther today, as with Mordecai in chapter 10, let us speak peace upon all around us this day and each day.
REflection from Dealing with Uncertainty
The final message from “Dealing with Uncertainty” speaks about practicing BEing patient. The texts includes, “Stillness is a discipline that takes continual, conscious practice, but the act of stillness sharpens our senses and makes us more aware of God’s presence in our present circumstances.” I had to learn that if I just BE, I’m still doing, for BE is a verb, an action. Many times in life we feel we have to literally work situations out by doing something, when in actuality we need to BE still and know that He is God, and as in Exodus 14:14, the Lord shall fight for us we only have to keep still. Try it and sit in quiet contemplation for him to take care of you.
Luke 22:42
May we always BE open to His will and His way for our lives, for He can go exceedingly above anything we can imagine to do. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Wait with patience and worship in the word this Wednesday, my friend.
