Be still and know He will carry you T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak)
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14
The message from “Daily Strength for Women” is titled “Be Still”. There was a time in my life when I was constantly going. I would not sit still nor would my mind stop processing; I was literally running, not wanting to feel like I was not in control. But finally, as I was going through a transition, I kept hearing God say, “Be Still”. I found the Psalms 46:10 in the bible, but I also found Exodus 14:14, which is highlighted with today’s message. It says, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” The writer says, “Sometimes our refusal to pause is a reflection of our lack of faith. God wants us to be still, to surrender, to let go, and let him. In our stillness we are able to hear God's voice and see him working clearly.” Sit still and allow God to do His will in and for your life. Rest and trust Him to do what’s best.
Reflection from Mary or Martha: Find Out Which One God Loves More
In the final message from “Mary or Martha: Find Out Which One God Loves More” we read, “God does not respond to each of us the same because we are not the same. Whatever we need from Him, He is going to provide.” We can experience the same situation, but God’s response is catered to each of us respectively. In turn, “Scripture tells us we should be imitators of Christ, we should walk the same way He walked, we should follow in His steps, and we should love others as He loved us.” Let us be compassionate as Christ when those around us are going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak). May we encourage them to feel what the need to feel and respect their way and needs to get through.
Philippians 2:3
