Seek solitude with the Savior
After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone. Matthew 14:23
Today’s devotional is titled “Embracing Solitude” says, “Jesus cherished his alone time. He guarded it.” Rest, recovery, and restoration are important to Christ and for the work of Christ. Busyness can be a distraction, preventing hearing and doing God’s word and work for your life. Take time this weekend to rest, and look for opportunities to rest and reset so you can be your best for tasks and tests along life’s JOurneY.
Reflection from Mary and Martha: Find Out Which One God Loves More
As we continue with “Mary and Martha: Find Out Which One God Loves More”, the writer speaks to how God, who made each of us so uniquely different, also understands exactly what we need when we are going through hard times. In the situation with Mary and Martha, they both used the exact words to question God about His whereabouts when Lazarus died, but He responded to each of them differently. The writer says, “By responding differently, He is showing them He loves them both so much; He knows each woman deeply. He knows every detail about them. He knows who they are and how they respond. He searches their hearts so He can understand fully what they need for comfort, and He is willing to do whatever that is.” God knows you and I, too.

We never have to fight if we do what’s right, for vindication will flow freely for you and me.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Seek solitude with the Savior, my friend.
