Listen deeply and live fully

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18

This morning’s devotional talks about “Living Fully Alive”, encouraging us to “…to be alive, rather than just to live. Not to only exist in life, but to know it, to understand it, to experience it--to live it.” It goes further to say, “Open your mind and your heart to the vision that God has for you.” Each day is a new day with new beginnings, new blessings, new mercies, and new opportunities. With each day comes restoration, a chance to begin again and focus on the new and follow what God has planned for me and you. Life happens and can sometimes derail us, causing us to lose our focus, enthusiasm and why. But remember, morning by morning are new mercies. Fill up on His word and LIVE in the moment, fully alive, with no regrets.

Reflection from Mary and Martha: Find Out Which One God Loves More

This morning the emphasis is on Martha in the devotional “Mary or Martha: Find Out Which One God Loves More”. The writer explains how Martha hears Jesus is coming, but from her perspective in the moment, He has shown up too late and she is filled with frustration and not able to understand. The author then has a personal reflection saying , “I am reminded of His goodness and His patience. I am thankful He is willing to allow me to come to Him with my fears and concerns. He listens while I talk through my problems, and He reminds me of His faithfulness.” When we are going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) we sometimes feel the Father is not with us—He doesn’t see nor hear our cry, but He is omnipresent and all knowing. During those times we must trust Him most. No matter what we are going through, we must be still, and then we will feel and hear that voice, knowing He is there—never leaving nor forsaking us during our lowest and darkest hours.

Proverbs 19:21

We work to plan our way, but the Lord’s will prevails everyday.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Listen deeply and live fully, my friend.
