Walk wisely and in wellness this Easter Sunday
“Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16
Ephesians 5:15-16 is highlighted with this morning’s message “Walk Wisely”. It says, “Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” As we live this Easter morning and can face another BEcause Jesus died for our sins, let us do all we can do and to the BEst of our ability, engaging in what is wise and good, and brings out the fruit of the Spirit of love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Happy REsurrection Day, my friend.🌅
REflection from Make Space for What Matters by Youversion
The final message from “Make Space for What Matters” gives us literally “A Word of Caution”. It starts with a REminder of how Jesus went into the wilderness for His 40 day fast, which prepared Him to REsist the devil. Likewise, today’s message says, “But when you practice these things, keep in mind that the spiritual habits themselves are not the end goal. The goal is to have a deeper intimacy with God. God’s Word makes it clear that obedience is better than sacrifice. This means that when we sacrifice anything, it should be from a place of humble surrender—not from a sense of half-hearted obligation.” Let continue to surrender earthly things to make way for the things The Most High wants to do and bring into our lives. May we continue not to just make good habits, but Godly habits in our lives.
