Daily Devotional for February 26, 2021

“Then Jacob woke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place—and I did not know it!” Genesis‬ ‭28:16‬ ‭NRSV‬‬

Just like Jacob, when we are in dry places, our night season, and feeling all alone, the Father is with us. Osteen REassures us, as in Jacob’s situation, the Lord says, “I will protect you wherever you go. I will be with you continually until I give you everything I have promised you”. Now that’s blessed assurance. Have you studied the word to see what God has promised us?? All I can say is if you don’t know just REad Ephesians 3:20 for an overview.

Nehemiah 4

As we JOurneY along, may we REmain REady to work and to fight alongside our brothers and sisters as in Nehemiah 4, focused on doing the work for our Father, building and REbuilding the kingdom here on earth.

REflection from The Great I Am

Today we BEgin the series by Tony Evans, “The Great I Am”. God truly is our all and all. Evans says, “Jesus is God’s selfie”. God sent His son to live and to die for us; truly the ultimate sacrifice. Whether you literally take a selfie this day or any day, may you BE REminded that we, too, were created in His image. Let us work to REflect who He is and BE all that He is calling us to BE as His children.
