The firmest foundation is in the Father
“Like trees planted in the Temple of the Lord, they will grow strong in the courtyards of our God” (Psalm 92:13).
“Like trees planted in the Temple of the Lord, they will grow strong in the courtyards of our God” (Psalm 92:13). Like trees planted by the water, we shall not BE moved. However, when we are rooted and grounded in the Father, we, too, need pruning. Today’s message says, “Jesus describes himself as the vine. If we are being nourished from that source, we will produce fruit. In the times where we feel like we are not flourishing, it may be that the Father needs to do some necessary pruning-_for the health of both the branch and the whole vine.” Take time to REflect on when you have BEen at your BEst and ask the Father to REmove what’s preventing you from that position again, seeking REstoration.
REflection from Healing What’s Hidden by Evan and Jenny Owens
As the title indicates from the series “Healing What’s Hidden”, “God Can Handle Our Emotions”. The writer says, “Emotions are like the check-engine light on a car. They don’t tell us exactly what’s wrong, but they alert us that something under the hood needs our attention…. The truth is, emotions are not indicative of the presence of God in our situation… But we can be sure of God’s presence even when we can’t feel him. That’s because God’s presence isn’t a feeling; it’s a fact.“ Let us not REmain so focused on our feelings that we ignore the Omnipresent, our Father who helps us to and T.H.R.O.U.G.H.
