Daily Devotional for April 25,2021

The God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble… 2 Corinthians 1:3–4 NKJV

Everything we go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) in life isn’t just for us in that moment or season. As Osteen speaks to this morning, “There are times when God will allow us to go through a painful season so He can birth something new on the inside. If you go through something you don’t understand, God allowed this to happen because He trusts you. He knows He can count on you to take the same comfort, the same healing, the same encouragement that helped you overcome this trouble, and share it with others”. We cannot heal until we REveal, so we must allow our tests to BEcome testimonies to share with others. As Mahalia Jackson’s lyrics emphasize,

“If I can help somebody, as I travel along

If I can help somebody, with a word or song

If I can help somebody, from doing wrong

No, my living shall not be in vain.”

Know your trials and pain shall not be in vain.

Luke 13

“‘Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord’” (Luke‬ ‭13:35‬ ‭NRSV). We are all children of the Most High God, so we must know we are blessed.
