Come together in Christ

“God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” 2 Corinthians 12:24-27

The devotional “Better Together” emphasizes that “As Christians, we are all a part of the body of Christ. Just like our physical bodies, if each part is working together with the others, then the entire body functions well and is happy.” We must work to ensure that we each are well individually, but it’s just as important to ensure our neighbors are well, too. We are so much greater when we are a collective for Christ. There is truly strength in numbers.

Reflection from Choosing Gratitude by Amy Seiffert

Today we begin “Choosing Gratitude” as our newest series by Amy Seiffert. Day 1 is called “For Our Home Team”, and it speaks about those people in our lives who are always there for us. As the devotional says, “Our Home Teams are absolute gifts. Let's get grateful about that. The desire for meaningful connection to others has been purposefully woven into every soul.” Think on your team—your tribe today, and let them know how grateful you are, no matter how near or far they are in your life. Don’t take them for granted, but be filled with gratitude.

Psalm 55:22

Let us not belabor with our burdens, but set ourselves free in the Savior who is the load bearer for you and me.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Come together in Christ, my friend.
