Continue courageously along life’s journey, for there’s no condemnation in Christ
“Straightening up, Jesus said to her, ‘Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?’ She said, ‘No one, Lord?’ And Jesus said, ‘I do not condemn you either, Go. From now on sin no more.’" John 8:10-11
As the title from “Daily Strength for Women” says, there is “ No Condemnation” when we are in Christ. We are reminded of the woman caught in adultery, and Jesus intervened in the group of stoners. “‘Let him who has never sinned cast the first stone.’ One by one, the accusers walked away.” The writer reminds us this morning, “Can you see that Jesus is the only one qualified to condemn you, and he chose to condemn himself instead? You are free and clean because of the grace of Jesus Christ.” Let us stop being so hard on ourselves about our shortcomings. Let go and leave it either way the Lord. Free your mind of condemning that and receive compassion from Christ. Get back up again.
Reflection from Casting Aside Doubt
In “Casting Doubt Aside” this morning, the message begins, “When everything is going perfectly or when something is presented to us that’s at the top of our wish list, we’re often suspicious and think it’s too good to be true.” We must remain content and confident in Christ that He can do the impossible, so what makes us think He won’t do what we ask and desire? May we be encouraged by the prayer offered up today. “God, you know my heart’s desires. Sometimes I’m afraid to entrust them to you. Help me embrace what you are doing in my life and not doubt your goodness.“ He knows and is working for you. Trust Him in his timing to do all things for you.
2 Corinthians 10:5
May we let nothing and no one’s words get in the way of what we know, read, and believe about our Father and His ways and promises.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Continue courageously along life’s journey, for there’s no condemnation in Christ, my friend.
