Head His way without delay

“I am not ashamed, because I know Jesus, the One in whom I have believed. And I am sure he is able to protect what he has trusted me with until that day.” 2 Timothy 1:12

Today’s message from “Daily Strength for Women” is called “Don’t Be Ashamed”. It BEgins by emphasizing 2 Timothy 1:12 which reads, “I am not ashamed, because I know Jesus, the One in whom I have believed. And I am sure he is able to protect what he has trusted me with until that day.” This message alone is enough to make today’s point. Let us never BE ashamed of the One who has kept us, blessed us, watched over us, and continues to give us life and orders our steps. May we never deny ourselves or anyone else to tell of His goodness, for He has never denied you and me, even when we weren’t deserving.

Let us BE grateful for the words spoken by Jesus at crucifixion that still REsonate today; “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do...” (Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭34‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

REflection from Opportunity Leadership by Moody Publishers

Today we BEgin the 4 day series “Opportunity Leadership” by Moody Publishers. Today’s message is called “Relinquish Plans”. The writer says, “Relinquishing planning is the single best thing that can ever be done in our professional ministry lives— it can also be the scariest. It’s a conscious decision to no longer rely on ourselves and our effort but on a sovereign God whose ways are higher than ours. As bewildering as it can feel to those who’ve never experienced it, to lead without a plan is a superior path.” We must always REmember one of my favorite scriptures, Jeremiah 29:11, for our Father has plans for us if we trust in Him. Trusting in Him means we understand that He is sovereign and can do anything but fail. When we work unto Him and not unto man (Colossians 3:23), it allows us to REmember that His thoughts are not our thoughts, ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8), but everything He leads us to to will only be greater. Trust in Him and His ways for what He has in store for you personally and professionally.
