Dwell in Him so He can love on you

“I will show my love to those who passionately love me. For they will search and search continually until they find me.” Proverbs 8:17

“A Found Love” is the title of today’s devotional, and it begins with Proverbs 8:17. “I will show my love to those who passionately love me. For they will search and search continually until they find me.” There is a love that is available to us that is like none other. “In order to search for him we need to slow down our busy bodies and minds, sit still in his presence, and listen carefully to Him…. It is in the quiet places that we are able to see him, feel him, and hear him.” Hi love hears, heals, guides, protects, comforts, and whatever else we need and desire. We only must take the time to seek Him, and rest in Him.

Reflection from Habit of Gratitude

As we continue the “Habit of Gratitude” three points are focused on today. As we work to give thanks through the good and the bad, we are reminded that, “We can be 1)Grateful that He is faithful; 2)Grateful that He listens; and 3)Grateful that He has a plan for our lives.” We must continue to walk by faith, reflecting on what He has done, knowing His giving will never end. More importantly, we must hold to the fact that He is all knowing and forever listening. Furthermore, we never has to worry because He goes before us and knows what’s best for us. There’s no one better and nothing greater than our God.
