A Perfect Strength

Our day to day lives can be very demanding, and there may be times when we don’t know how we will make it through. As children of God, today’s message reminds us, “No matter what life throws our way, we can be confident of this: Our demands will never exceed God's vast resources.” There is nothing too hard for God, and there is no task or responsibility that He will not help us to get through, for on Him we can always depend.

2 Corinthians 12:9 says, "’My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.”

When we cannot find the strength within, on Him we can always depend.

Small Straws Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11-13

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Our Father knows what is best for us beyond what we think our can even consider to imagine we might experience, but we must seek Him, and trust Him, even in the situations that we don’t realize will work for our good to strengthen and bless us.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Isaiah 25:1

O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

As with this scripture, let us always be grateful for our Father whose plans and wonders have been in place for our lives since long before we even took our first breath.
