Fear not along your JOurneY—God’s got you

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Psalm 5:11

Today we hear about “Protection” in the message from “Daily Strength for Women”. The text says, “The remarkable grace God gives us provides impenetrable lprotection and insatiable joy!… The Lord's protection does not guarantee that we will be spared from pain or sadness.“ Even though we may experience situations of discomfort, He is there to help us find JOY in the JOurneY. We must REmember there is no growth without pain and rain, but we must also REmain steadfast in knowing that there’s a purpose that will work out along the way.

REflection from Freedom and the Single Mom by Jennifer Maggio

Today’s message from “Freedom and the Single Mom” says “Fear is Not Your Portion”. Why do we allow fear to get in the way from what we set out to do? Maggio says, “Fear is often silently strangling us. Yet, our Father in Heaven paid for us to have an abundant life free from fear, worry, and anxiety.“ She goes further to say, “There are three things that I learned to do to lay down fear and walk into the freedom Christ paid for me to have: 1) Acknowledge what fear is; 2) Seek God until he takes away our fears; and 3) Speak the truth.” We know that our Father holds the key to our destiny. Nothing is ever too hard for God.
