God’s path cancels out the enemy’s wrath

The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. Proverbs 4:18

“Daily Strength for Women” speaks to “The Path of Life” this morning. It says, “There are rewards here now for following God. The greatest of these rewards is that we grow closer to God the more we walk with him… we have a relationship with him…. When we stay the course, he fills us with joy, makes his presence known, and leads us every step of the way.” May He continue to light our way and show us the way to all that He has for us in this life—things even greater than we could ever imagine for ourselves.

REflection from Freedom and the Single Mom by Jennifer Maggio

We are REminded this morning by Jennifer Maggie in “Freedom and the Single Mom” that “Worry Won’t Win”. Maggie says, “The problem is – most of us have always worried!… We have created a habit of worry.… We must train our thought-life to align with the Word of God, not the ways of the world or the way we’ve always thought. Worrying does not add anything to our situation; rather, it takes away from our capacity to experience the joy of the Lord. Take your thoughts captive.” There’s a piece of wall art that I awake to each morning. I see it, I REad it, but I don’t always take it captive. May we each work to hold onto the face that we don’t have to worry, we only have to REmember His word. The scriptures of His goodness and what He has for us cancels out any thing the enemy sets out to keep us worried.
