Let us not waste our waking hours worrying
Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Philippians 2:1-2
Philippians 2:1-2 encourages us by REminding us as written in today’s devotional, “We will experience joy, love, and have a similar mindset as other believers which unites us under Christ…. Praise God for being the completion of our love, joy, and unity.“ It is important for us to pay attention to our surroundings, but more importantly, who we surround ourselves with in life. Let us pay attention to those (as spoken to me by one of my big siSTARS) with high vibrations and beautiful spirits from walking with Christ.
REflection from Courageous Peace by Rob Stanmore
Today’s message by Rob Stanmore in “Courageous Peace” encourages us to “Shape Your Worry into Prayer.” Stanmore starts off with a quote from Corrie Ten Boom which says, “Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength – carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worry does not empty tomorrow of sorrow; but it empties today of strength.” We have to let go of worry and give it and everything else to God. We must work to stay focused on THIS day and what He has given us to do and the strength to get it done. He knows how much we can bear and holds us in His arms with the strength accordingly. When we want to worry, let us hold fast to Philippians 4:6, “Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns."
Psalms 4:8
We can lie down, REst and never second guess when we trust in the Lord, for He is our safety.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Let us not waste our waking hours worrying, my friend.
