God has an will continue to lead us, guide us, and many times carry us through life’s situations, so let us never depart from His words and directives
Giving Fear a Name
Kundtz begins his message today with a quote from writer Gabriele Rico, “Whatever our crisis, whatever our sorrow, whatever our feeling, to name it is to frame it. A frame of words gives us the safety to claim our feelings as our own.” Then Kundtz ends with his own words, “Sometimes it's that simple. When you name something, you assume a position of power over it. You've ‘got it’ in a new way and it no longer ‘has you.’” We must call things as we see them and take control of our lives. You see something only as you see it; no one else can experience through your perspective. Capture every thought and take control of your life, releasing what needs to go, and working through what may hold you back in a season.
2 Corinthians 10:5 says, “and every proud obstacle raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to obey Christ.” No whatever you are dealing with, you can take it to Christ, and He will be with you to see it through. No situation is too hard or Him.
Small Straws Scripture: Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
May we only reflect on what is in our past, for we cannot return. Yet let us stay focused on where we are being led, doing what we can in the present to reach our goal as Christ leads us.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Mark 12:10
Have you not read this scripture: ‘The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
May we never reject Christ our Father who is essential to our salvation.
God has an will continue to lead us, guide us, and many times carry us through life’s situations, so let us never depart from His words and directives, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
