God is our gift who has gifted us to give to others
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.” 1 Peter 4:10
This morning’s message “Spiritual Gifts” highlights 1 Peter 4:10 which says, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.” Each of us is blessed with many gifts, and it is up to us to make sure they are used to the glory of God. The text emphasizes, “Each of us have a gift to use that we cannot waste our time wondering if those around us think our gift is worthy, fitting, or significant. Use your gift to join in harmony with the music being played to the glory of God by the body of Christ.” May we boldly go forth each day using what God has gifted us personal to gift to the world.
Reflection from Living as an Overcomer
Day 5 of “Living as an Overcomer” speaks to “Walking in the Spirit’s Power: The Church in Sardis”. This morning we are directed to Revelation for context. “In Revelation 3:3, Jesus instructed the Christians in Sardis to do three things: remember what they had already received, keep (act on) what they had received, and repent. For us to connect with God’s Spirit, we need to do the same things.” As we journey along, left us always reflect upon what God has already done for us, to us, through us personally and to support others. Let us also us that know to continue to do, lead with, and share of His goodness, mercy, strength, and power. Finally, let us never fall short to repent when we fall short. Keep this trinity as a guide as the Trinity guides us in this life.
