He was always chosen so you and I would be chosen

Martyr or Servant?

We all strive to have a servant’s heart, working to do the will of God, but we also strive not to grow weary from doing good and showing characteristics of a martyr. Today’s message says, “While our spirit delights in serving, sometimes our flesh fights against it. We can easily slip from humility to pride; from being servants to thinking ourselves martyrs… The antidote, of course, is to remember the example of Jesus and allowing the Spirit to put His mind in us.” Let us work to keep a perspective of willingness to serve and a heart of servitude in all that we do to not grow weary in doing good.

Philippians 2:3 reads, Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Let us always work to be humble and selfless in what we do for others as Christ expects of me and you.

Small Straws Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Know that we can always rely on our Fathers. There is no time that we should trust our own thoughts before that of His words. Keep whatever He says and leads us to do in the forefront of our lives and al will be well.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Luke 1:35

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

This is the most miraculous moment of time, when our Savior was conceived—given unto Mary to save you and me.

He was always chosen so you and I would be chosen, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
