When weary don’t worry, just worship
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31
The Father continues to give me the words I need as I REmain focused on Him. This morning’s message, “Rest for the Exhausted”, the writer says, “God promises to give us rest and renew our strength. But we also have to learn to say no when faced with decisions…. Balance is necessary. That's where it's helpful to pray about our choices before we say yes to adding new tasks to our already busy days. If we allow God to make those decisions for us, he promises us something beyond amazing: rest for the weary.“ Let us work to prepare for each day with Christ through prayer, planning, and preparation. He will help us accomplish all things through Him.
Luke 18
Know “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God” (Luke 18:27 KJV).
REflection from Anxious for Nothing by Max Lucado
Today we BEgin the REading plan, “Anxious for Nothing” by Max Lucado. This morning’s focus is “Rejoice in the Lord Always”. Lucado says, “Anxiety is a meteor shower of what-ifs.” But he goes on to say, “In Philippians 4:4, Paul offers what could be considered a ‘prescription’ for anxiety and worries. Interestingly, this prescription begins with a call to ‘rejoice in the Lord always’.” In EVERYTHING, let us REjoice in the Father. Let us REmember that we are not in control, but our Father is, and He can do all things but fail. When our life is in His hands, Romans 8:28, Ephesians 3:20, and so much more are in store.
Jeremiah 31:25
We can REset when we sit with the Father.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
