Daily Devotional for April 27, 2021

See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Isaiah 60:2

Many of us go through devastating experiences. Today’s devotional by Osteen highlights the following scripture: “See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you” (Isaiah 60:2). In all that we go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) that the enemy means for harm, God uses for good. What has you in a place that can BE used for a purpose? Don’t let it make you bitter, but better. Allow God to work it in your favor and help another.

Luke 15

Because we are of flesh, sometimes it is difficult for us to understand how those who bring harm to us continue to be blessed in situations, but as written in Luke 15:31-32, those of us who seek the Father are REcognized by Him; He knows we turn to Him and follow Him. But we must work to celebrate and rejoice, when those we know were dead come to life; those who were lost are found. Let us pray for our friends but most importantly, our enemies.

REflection from 21 Day Plan for Busy Women: A Rich and Satisfying Life

The “21 Day Plan for Busy Women: A Rich and Satisfying Life” emphasizes how we might appear as dead—losing all hope; feeling as if we have no REason to continue to live. But as Peter did with Tabitha (Dorcas) in Acts 9:40, with prayer the dead shall rise and live again. Pray and go get your life back! Everything the enemy stole from you!

Isaiah 53:6

Let us BE grateful REflecting on the fact that even when we gave up on ourselves and strayed, God didn’t give up on us. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Trials try to trick us from trusting Thee. Don’t fall for the trap this Tuesday, my friend.
