In all things, give thanks

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10

Today’s message from “Daily Strength for Women” is titled “Suffering”. It says, “God does not delight in your suffering…. What God does want to accomplish in your life is holiness. Often it takes insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles to humble us before God. Our best life is not one free of suffering, but one totally reliant on God's grace.” It’s easy for a smile to be put on our faces by giving us what we ask or want, but going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, and Heartbreak) humbled us and teaches us about grace. Let us remember, it rains on the just and the unjust, but without being buried, the rain, and the SON, we don’t grow.

Reflection from Habits of Gratitude

Today’s message from “Habits of Gratitude” speaks about thanksgiving. The writer says, “Psalm 33 provides a prod to communicate thanksgiving. The psalmist tells us praise and thanksgiving are appropriate for God’s people. Giving thanks to the Lord is fitting because of who He is and what He’s done.… Thanksgiving might start as an internal matter as you feel grateful, but it must move from the inside out as you give thanks. The more we see God and notice how He’s at work, the more reasons we have to give thanks.” As the saying goes, if I had 10,000 tongues, I still could not praise Him enough. But every chance we get, let us praise the Lord for praise confuses the enemy and expresses our gratitude for all that He has done, is doing, and will forever do for you and me.

Psalms 133:1

Know that we are better together in unity, so let us love and lift for others to be drawn to Thee.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

In all things, give thanks, my friend.
