“Not everything along your life’s way is going to make sense. This is where faith comes in…God, I don’t understand it, but I trust you.” This is part of the message Joel Osteen provides this morning from “Daily Readings from All Things Are Working for Your Good.” I have BEen in a place for close to five years and I truly don’t understand it, but I’m trusting the Father and the process. My faith is truly in Him, because from experience, I know if I’m supposed to do something according to His will, there will BE no question about it—He will give me confirmation. Let us continue to lean not unto our own understanding, nor the thoughts and ideas of others for our lives, but let us walk by faith in the Father and not by sight for eye has not seen nor ear heard the things which God has prepared for us. Let us wait and wait well.
1 Samuel 13
Let us not BE like Saul in 1 Samuel 13:13-14, and not keep what God has commanded us, but let us REmain steadfast and patient so the Lord will establish what He has planned for us as (wo)men after His own heart.
REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life
Joyce Meyer speaks to our potential this morning and says, “You may know that God's created you with great potential, but you can't stop there. You have to develop your potential.” She goes further to say, “I believe that many people are unhappy because they aren't doing anything to develop their potential. If you want to see your potential developed to its fullest, don't wait until everything is perfect… Don't be so afraid of failing that you never take a chance. Don't stay in the safety zone.” Another year is on the verge of coming to an end. As you REflect back, have you developed your potential, or do you find yourself in the safety zone? I charge you today to live in the moment with no REgrets. What is in you? What have you been holding out on or pressing pause until the “perfect timing”? Take a step in faith today towards that desire, that goal, or over that obstacle. The Father is with you and your success is ahead of you. Don’t self-sabotage or block your own blessings.
