Stay the course and know God is your source for REstoration

This morning’s message from “Daily Strength for Women” says, “Picture a season in your life where you were knee-deep in busyness, swallowed in sadness, or buried in exhaustion. Picture that season and how you looked, acted, reacted, and survived.” I’m so grateful that is not what my life is like now. It goes on to say, “Now picture the King of the heavens and earth. See how he rules over the entire earth. This powerful God wants you to lean on him.” That is exactly what I had to do to get T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) to my breakthrough. I can REflect back now and see from whence I have come—literally. Five years ago, I traveled to Washington, D.C. depressed, in major debt, worried, and over everything. That was the last of family vacations in my marriage.

Today, I have awakened in the same place five years later full of blessings, love, and hope for this day and each day. I’m living what I once prayed for in this life. I am not where I was and I know the BEst is still yet to come, for as this devotional speaks to, I have learned to lean on the Father. Trust Him with every aspect of your life and He will see you through. REmember in Christ, even when you lose some things you win. Let go and left God have His way with your life.

REflection from While We Wait by Leading and Loving It

The messages from “While We Wait” was pinned by Jenni Clayville. She speaks saying, “We all go through seasons we loathe. For some of us, we don’t know if we can keep going for another day…. Failure is certain. What matters is how we respond to it. Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again--more intelligently this time. So embrace failure and let it make you better.” She then REminds us of the words spoken in Joel 2:25, “‘I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten…’ God promises restoration.” Your REstoration is on the way. Again, I am a living testimony as I spoke to earlier. I am in my REstoration. No, I could not see, nor honestly imagine it five years ago, yet my faith kept me and God has shown me. Don’t give up now for your breakthrough is coming.
