The Lord will provide more than we can ever imagine when we focus on the JOY in our JOurneY with patience

When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future. Ecclesiastes 7:14

Part of today’s message says, “Happiness is determined by our circumstances, but true joy comes when we can find the silver linings, hidden in our darkest hours -when we can sing his praises no matter what.” “In Sunshine and in Storm”, as the title of today’s message, let us not just seek happiness in life, but find JOY. JOY is found all along our JOurneY even as we go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak), for all things are lessons and/or blessings in our lives.

Ezra chapter two speaks of a lineage, listening those who accompanied Zerubbabel carried away unto Babylon.

REflection from Faith and Patience by Believer’s Victory Church

Today’s devotional from “Faith and Patience” focuses on “Benefits of Patience”. The text BEgins, “Everything that God tells us to do is for our benefit.” With a focus still on James 1:2-4, today’s messages focuses on the latter verse which speaks to “lacking nothing”. As the writer says, Lacking in this verse means “to lag, be inferior”… Let patience work in your life! You won’t lag or be inferior … you will be whole, and you will have everything you need.” REmember patience prepares us to wait well as God works on us and for us for greater ahead.
