Be patient in the preparation for the great things He has in store
“He says: ‘It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob
and bring back those of Israel I have kept.
I will also make you a light for the Gentiles,
that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.’”
“God doesn't want us to keep him to ourselves. He wants us to be a light that shines for all to see so that salvation can reach the ends of the earth.” That’s the REminder from this morning’s devotional from “Daily Strength for Women” What are you doing each day for the world to see the God in you? Are you dimming your light or working to find ways to let it shine for others to learn of His marvelous work and what He’s done for you and me? Let us work to show and share with others, both BElievers and the non-BElievers what He has done and continue for you and me.
Ezra 1
As with Cyrus in Ezra chapter one, let us all work to build our houses for and of the Lord God. Let us get our houses in order.
REflection from Faith and Patience by Believer’s Victory Church
We have BEcome a society that looks to our smartphones for all the answers. However, as the title from today’s message from the series “Faith and Patience” informs us, “There Isn’t An App for That - Patience”. James 1:2-4 is highlighted again this morning which REads, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” The writer says this morning, “Today, we are talking about two elements of patience: it's needed, and it grows." Quoting Devon Daniel, we are REminded, “Patience Is Necessary To Become Who God Called You To Be.” Highlighting Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus”, the writer tells us, “You are growing to be who God desires you to be in your mind and your will—your soul…. You have to be patient in your patience.” Let us learn to give ourselves a break. Grace must BE given to ourselves too. We can BE our own worst critic, but take time today to see how the Father has Romans 8:28 your life and many situations that you thought would never come to fruition, and then REmember that patience is preparing you for something even greater! Get REady!
1 Peter 5:10

Be patient in the preparation for the great things He has in store, my friend.
