The flame for the Father still burns in you. Set it ablaze this day

“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.”

Osteen’s message this morning BEgins with the discussion about the Torch Race, a famous race where the runner had to keep the flame from wind or rain or anything that might put it out. Osteen says, “It's the same principle in the race of life. If you're going to finish your course with joy, you have to guard your flame…. You have to finish your course with your fire still burning.” No matter what occurs over time that’s meant to keep you from going on and seeing things T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak), you must continue the good work He BEgan in you. REset, REcharge, but don’t REvert nor REscind.

Lamentations 3

In all that we encounter, let us REmember Lamentations 3:22-26 which says, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

We are encouraged this morning to “Use Your Authority”. Meyer says in her message, “Jesus didn't promise that we'd never have to deal with stressful situations, but He goes on to say that we can be of good cheer because He has conquered the world”, that is written in John 16:33. She then goes on to REmind us, “Luke 10:19 says, "Behold! I have given you authority, over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you." No matter what comes our way in this life, we can REmain cool, calm, and collected in Christ as more than conquerors.

Psalms 8:3-4

Let us REmain mindful of His marvelous wonders REalizing He is mindful of us and welcomes us to wonder of the possibilities in Him and with Him. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
