Let love lead today and each day as we work and do for other out of passion and not obligation
He answered, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself?" Luke 10:27 NIV
May everything we do be out of “Passion, Not Obligation”. Today’s text says, “God doesn't want us to love, worship, or serve Him out of obligation. A love that comes from coercion is no love at all. May we long for and pray for the kind of lavish love that the Lord offers to us freely. Then we can watch as our obligation turns into passion and joy.” He has loved us when we were unable or didn’t love ourselves. Let us love Him and love others in a way that is pleasing to the One who does more than we can ever ask or think for us and to us .
Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (2 Samuel 23, 2 Samuel 24, & 1 Kings 1)
“The Spirit of the Lord spoke through me; his word was on my tongue. The God of Israel spoke, the Rock of Israel said to me: ‘When one rules over people in righteousness, when he rules in the fear of God, he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings grass from the earth.’”
2 Samuel 23:2-4 NIV
1 Corinthians 13:4
Love is God and of God. Let us use it as such.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Let love lead today and each day as we work and do for other out of passion and not obligation, my friend.
