Be pure in your prayers and petitions
“Don't bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This isn't a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we're in. If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn't think of such a thing. You're at least decent to your own children. So don't you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better?" Matthew 7:7-11 MSG
Let us take the time to thank God for “The Gift of Joy”. Today’s devotional reads, “God wants us to know happiness, and He does offer us many good gifts throughout our lives.… but do the desires of my heart line up with what is right and good and the will of God?" Let us not miss out on blessings for lack of leaning into and spending time to engage and learn more about our Father. Let us be intentional with our worshiping and witnessing each day.
Reflection from Let Us Read the Bible Together (1 Kings 2, 1 Kings 3, & 1 Kings 4)
“At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.””
1 Kings 3:5 NIV
1 Corinthians 13:5
May we work to love in the manner that is expected of our Father.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Be pure in your prayers and petitions, my friend.
