Let us always be open and grateful to receive all that is coming from Christ for you and me,

Conscious of Our Treasures

This morning’s message is preceded by a quote from American playwright and novelist Thorton Wilder who said, “We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” My pastor’s sermon yesterday ended with Him reminding us to take time to say “thank you” to our Father for the moments we have to come to us about what God has done. As encouraged by the author today, “Let us—all of us— continue to seek ‘those moments.’” Stay in the moment today and throughout the day, being grateful for what we normally allow to pass by and fail to recognize with gratitude and thanksgiving.

2 Corinthians 9:15 reads, “Thank God for his gift that is too wonderful for words!” He continuously gives us the gift that keeps on giving, Christ Jesus. Everything we need, whatever we are going through, Jesus Christ is the answer and all we need.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Let us always find time to regroup, relax, recover and reset in restoration with Christ so that unusual circumstances do not alter our will and drive to move forward.

Let us always be open to receive what God desires to give us, for He knows what’s best for you and me.
