First Stop

A question is posed this morning; “What does it take for any of us to find happiness?“ The author goes on to say, “First we must stop looking and sit down a moment...”. We tend to “look” for happiness, yet fail to realize it is with us—it’s a choice. The following example was shared in this morning’s message. “Looking for your hat or watch or glasses, when all the time they're on you, is, well, embarrassing. Looking for happiness in the same way can be tragic.” If we are not in a great state, let us choose happiness this day. As we’ve been encouraged, take the time to stop and sit down in it.

Proverbs 3:13 says, “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, And the man that getteth understanding.” God provides us with the knowledge and understanding we need. Therefore let us choose happiness that is within us.

Small Straws Scripture 1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore let is no situation in life where we will not be victorious as we walk with Christ. We may not see or understand the blessing or lesson, but in time it will be revealed.
