Let us be committed to His plans and His ways as well plan, think, and do the work and service He calls us to

God’s Wonder Woman

This morning we are introduced to Deborah in the bible. She was a mother, wife, prophetess, and a lawyer. Serving as a judge was unheard of for women during this time, and as written in today’s message, she was a “remarkable woman who answered God's leadership call and governed Israel for sixty years.” The writer says, “God has equipped each of us with the ability to perform the duties to which He has called us. Are you letting Him work His way in your life?” The following pray is added, speaking; “Father, I often limit the possibilities You envision for me. Help me to dream Your dreams. Amen.” May we each use the message about Deborah to continue to be encouraged about being purposeful in our work. May we also not limit ourselves. We were instilled with gifts—plural; we are not one dimensional in our talents and wisdom. Let us be of service and knowledge in varying aspects of our lives as God calls us to ministry in our work and deeds each day.

Judges 4:4 reads, “Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, was judging Israel at that time.”

This introduction to Deborah shows God uses who He so desires for His work. He calls and appoints, and we must be willing to accept His calling upon our lives.

Small Straws Scripture: Proverbs 13:4

The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.

Let us always strive to put in the work for what we desire, for God has equipped us with gifts, talents, and the ability to do His will and what He wills for our lives.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Micah 6:8

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

May we always strive to conduct ourselves in a manner as we work and enjoy life, being fair, loving unconditionally with grace and mercy, as well as being humble and meek among others.

Let us be committed to His plans and His ways as well plan, think, and do the work and service He calls us to, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
