Looking Ahead to Where God Is

Today’s message is a reminder for us not to dwell on the past and what is behind us. Yes we may have thoughts, but we should only reflect and not revert or become consumed. As the writer says, “Although the Lord doesn't want us looking back at what once was, our enemy does… God wants us to look ahead to the future. The future is where He is. He promises to give us hope in our futures.” Let us work to stay present, living and being, while maintaining hope for the future and all that is to come from God’s blessings for you and me.

Luke 9:62 reads, “But Jesus told him, ‘Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.’"

Let us remain forward, focused on our future in faith, following Christ’s ways.

As we walk with Christ, know that we will never be who we were before. We are forgiven and every day is a day of new beginnings with new mercies.

As long as we lean and depend on God, all that we need will be provided through Him. All that we need to succeed is in Thee.
